The industry has played an active role in attracting young talent to join the industry and make successful careers in this industry. Quiet often, the supervisors lack the experience or know-how or the time to support the new incumbent or Graduate-in-Training. The result is a very frustrated young graduate and supervisor/manager. The Academy has designed a program to address this need in support of both the employer/manager and the trainee. Graduates and young professionals are enrolled on the program through their employer. A specific program is then tailor-made for an individual to grow and support them on a specific path, influenced by their goals and those of the employer. The Academy believes that with the wealth of knowledge and leadership that exists within the organisation, hundreds of graduates can immensely benefit from such a program. Other programs that will be rolled out during the course of the year include Radiation Protection, Radiation Protection for health practitioners, and Nuclear Security Management.
